Reindeer 1
The local nursery (Swansons) brings reindeer in during the holiday season. Little kids seemed to love the reindeer - and so did I! They were pretty friendly too. This one actually came over to the fence and snuffled at my hand - but not like he or she (apparently female reindeer have antlers too) wanted to eat me ;-)

Caught in the Act
We caught Cortez drinking water out of the Christmas tree the other day - he's a pretty loud drinker, and it was pretty funny. He didn't appreciate the picture though...

Cortez is fascinated by the ornaments on the Christmas Tree (he thought the tree was pretty cool even before the ornaments!) We tried to put "cat friendly" ornaments near the bottom...

This one is my favorite of the "First Snow" set. I think, or maybe it's the next one...I love my tripod and the macro setting!
Winter Wonderland!
We got our first (sticking) snow of the year - pretty early for us on December 1st. Beautiful, but cold! Happy December!
