I had an MRI today to hopefully find out why my knee keeps on hurting. I won't find out what the results actually say about my knee until next week, but here are a few screen shots I found entertaining.
Is it just me, or does my leg look fat? ;-)
Pretty sure this is my knee cap ;-)
I took some other pictures at Jeremy & Sally's Wedding. You can see them here.
Grinning and sticking his tongue out at us!

When I first saw this pair from farther away, a pair of Mallards (one male, one female) crawled out of the water onto the trail about a foot away from where I was standing. I was a little weirded out, since the came from out of the blue, and then they started following me. I stopped to see how close they would get, and the female actually tried to take a bite out of my right shoe. When they realized I really wasn't going to feed them, they left me alone..crazy Mallards!

I saw this big guy perched on some old pilings near Foster Island. He kept harassing the ducks & other waterfowl by soaring overhead and then swooping down to the water behind them, resulting in a lot of quacking and frantic flying. Then he would perch somewhere else, and repeat the process. I was lucky to get this close, and have him sit still.
It most resembles he pictures of the Golden Eagle in my "Birds of Washington" book, but it doesn't seem like the habitat is right. Maybe it's a juvenile Bald Eagle? Anybody know? I'll post some soaring pictures too, but they didn't turn out as well...
This little otter was so cute! He kept standing up near the viewing window (that had terrible glare) to look at what the people outside were doing.

This isn't the best out of my Arctic Fox shots, but it shows how thick its coat was - it looked a bit like a sheep ready to be sheared! ;-)
The Arctic Fox was shedding it's hair big time when I saw it a couple of weeks ago. It looked like it needed a good brushing!

I took these pictures on the way from Emerson Elementary School to UW Campus on Tuesday afternoon. The sky was very dramatic - it hadn't rained that afternoon, but it started to rain about an hour or so after I took the pictures.
